I’m still saving like a banshee for a new camera.
Here’s what I have lens wise:
* Canon 50mm f/1.4
* Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS
* Canon 18-55 EF-S
I’m having the darnedest time deciding between a Canon EOS 30d and a EOS 5d. I still shoot film occasionally and want to get into wide angle stuff. To me it seems the full frame 5d is the perfect choice. I could pick up a 17-40mm f4L lens and be in wide angle heaven. At the same time, if I bought the 30d, to achieve the wide angle effect, I’d need a 10-22 lens and then another lens to cover the missing gap between the 22mm and 50mm area (yes the kit lens covers it, but its such a bad lens I dont want to consider it.) The 30d is a lot cheaper though. I just don’t know.
