Digital Rebel Returned From Service

Well, I got my 300d back from Best Buy (geeksquad) warranty service.

As I thought, “Cleaned and Inspected. Working.” is what they came back with.

Now I have to go nuts taking pictures, to see if it will happen again. I was hoping it was dead, so I could get a new body before the warranty expires. Then I could spend my “camera savings” on some new glass instead. Since I’ve been shooting only RAW lately I’ve noticed how slow the rebel is at writing, even with my Sandisk Ultra II card, it seems like the camera is the bottleneck.

We’ll see how it goes.
