I wanted to make note of this in my blog so I could reference it later. Very Handy way to rip audio from dvds.
Thanks Jeremy Zawodny and David Dorward
I use Transcode for this, for example:
transcode -i /dev/dvd -p /dev/dvd -T 1,1 -E 44100 -y null,wav -m myAudio.wav -s 3

Sweet powers of liquid Nitrogen
Awesome! Make ice cream in 30 seconds flat.
Liquid nitrogen is cold. Very cold. So cold that if a drop falls on your hand, it feels like fire. So cold that it can turn a fresh flower into a thousand shards of broken glass. So cold that it can make half a gallon of ice cream in 30 seconds flat.

Awesome program to show your windows and office keys in any current windows OS. Tried it on XP and it worked great.
The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves your Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry. It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file, or print it for safekeeping. It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Office 97, and Office XP.

Continental, Security and MS
An article about Microsoft launching a new security Certification. And some harsh words from Continental towards the ‘linux guys’ whom apparently are all hackers!
Acknowledging that vendors and IT professionals have to step into the breach to make computing more secure, Microsoft Tuesday launched two new security certifications and again pledged to make software patches easier to apply. Scott Charney, Microsoft’s chief security strategist, said Tuesday that he is working to adapt the company’s corporate culture to make patch application more uniform and rational.

The Wacky World of Wally World
This is a guys log of his life working at Wal-Mart.
I currently work at a mass merchandising corporate chain known as Wally World. If you have not heard of Wally World then you are lying, because you have. Besides the fact that I believe that I work for an evil corporate empire, Wally World is actually a pretty good place to work, despite a few setbacks from time to time.
