Linux World Arrival
Made it to San Francisco this afternoon for Linux World. The weather is real nice, about 68 degrees right now.. The hotel is decent, but the wireless seems to be flaky, it’s acting like a linksys router or something.. every minute or so it drops me. I’ve got the same issues in linux and windows with both my broadcom b/g minipci and my orinoco gold.. so im using my orinoco with the externa mag mount antenna.

YAPC Day 3 and out
Day three was good.. I really enjoyed Damian’s talk.. Overall good conference this year.. the University at Buffalo was a great place to host it. They had wireless everywhere, and plenty of places to eat on campus.. Go to tour the supercomputing lab. That was fun. Went to Niagra falls last night, and hopped the bridge to Canada..
Anyways.. I’m in the Buffalo airport, gotta get some food and hop on a place to Cleveland, OH, then to Houston, and I’m home.

YAPC day 2 going on.. I’m listening in on “Advanced Regexs” had a sub for lunch, and two cookies. Uhh thats it for now.. just keeping the site up to date.

YAPC Day 1
Well, I’m here at YAPC 2004. Sitting here on the wireless, listening to the keynotes and Perl upcoming releases speech and such.
The hotel SUCKS!! The University Inn, in Buffalo, NY is horrible customer service wise. I got in last night and they said “Hey, you were supposed to be here yesterday, we canceled your reservation.” So they stuck me in a damn sofa bed for the night, and basically told me its my fault.

Well, got back from London last Friday, but I’m finally getting around to making a post. I will have a ton of pictures sometime soon of London. Don’t know when. I’m super busy at work right now, so I dont have any time to post much. Oh, got to see the season finale of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” Tuesday night. It was funny, good end to a season, more of a feel good ending.

Going to London
I’ll be going to London March 5th – March 12th! I’m excited! Get to see my grandad and some cousins and an aunt and uncle. I got tons of film and I’m bringing the digital also. It will be nice to take a week off. If I have wireless available somewhere, I’ll probably blog now and then.
